A 65-year-old woman was arrested this morning at the Dallas airport after police said she passed through security with a .38-caliber revolver in her purse and boarded a Houston-bound American Airlines flight, according to news reports.
Transportation Security Administration officials alerted airport police about 6:20 a.m. CT (7:20 a.m. ET) that a passenger had passed through the Gate 26 checkpoint in Terminal D without undergoing a “secondary screening,” the airport said in a news release.
